profile

I completed my Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) as part of my initial teacher preparation to serve in Singaporean schools and officially graduated in July 2019.

Before this, I graduated in 2017 from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. Before that, I did a 5-year double degree programme with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Waseda University, graduating with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Life Sciences (specialising in Biomedical Sciences) and a BA in International Liberal Studies (Concentration in Linguistics).

In my schooling years, I was at Hwa Chong Institution (2003-2008) and Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) (1997-2002).

My formal education always consisted of two halves, both equally important to me. While academics were important, my co-curricular and external activites also played a huge role in shaping my character and values.

For more on the former, have a look at Academics. For the latter, take a gander at Activities.
